Bought in Louisville Kentucky spring of 1989, was barely running.1 rescued it from a leaky shed. It had Shoel saddlebags and an aftermarket trunk. I removed them and installed the trunk you see here. It will hold 2 fullface helmets. I have had all the chrome reworked'. and have maintained the motorcycle myself

Two years ago, I purchased a Dyna III electronic ignition system for the gold wing about the same time I got bifocals ( if I hear "it's normal for a man your age one more time") I will scream!!!

I had a Mayer Day long saddle on my 83 wing and plan to get one for this cycle, I have been cross country 3 times with the Mayer seat and it is heaven compared to the "park bench" stock Honda unit.

I am looking for a new stock Honda exhaust ( I know big $$$$) As you can see from the pictures the cycle has a 78 or 79 exhaust, it was on it when I bought it, it is in pretty rough shape!!

This GL and I have been to Tucson AZ, New Jersey, California, and all over the desert southwest.

My plan is to finish restoring the motorcycle (keep it) and then I will test ride a 1500.
