The Classic Wing Club email discussion list exists to give GL1000 owners
and fans a forum in which to discuss any topics directly (or indirectly)
related to GL1000 motorcycles.  You do not need to be a member of the
Classic Wing Club to join this list.

This may include (but isn't limited to) 'Wings (or parts) wanted or for
sale, accessories, modifications, customizing, technical Q & A,
recommendations, general questions, Gold Wing history and speculation,
trip reports, rumors, chit-chat, etc.

The list is run by Rob Poe and generously hosted by InterTech of KC.  If

The CWC list requires you to register in order to post, or to search the
archives.  This discourages the spammers from harvesting the email
addresses, and also keeps the spam to almost none (only one "half-spam"
message has ever been on the list!).  Attachments sent to the list need to
be less than 100k (for our dial-up users!).  Additionally, dangerous file
types are blocked, and all emails are scanned by two virus scanners.

Once you are signed up for the list, you can post to it by simply sending
an email to

Also, you can visit the above link and log in with your email address (and
password, which is emailed to you) to change your list options (digest vs.
regular mode), to temporarily pause email delivery (if you went on
vacation and didn't want email while you were gone) or to unsubscribe.

Additonally, you can send email to cwc-request@itofkc.com with the word
`help' in the subject or body (don't include the quotes), and you will get
back a message with instructions on managing your subscription via email.

Every month you will be sent a reminder email with your login address and
password.  Should you lose this information you can also request the email
be re-sent at any time.
